Evaluate energy-related projects or programs to reduce energy costs. Develop, coordinate and implement strategies and policies to reduce energy consumption and improve efficiency. Establish business opportunities with potential clients analyze projects and prepare technical proposals to offer site solutions, including reduce electrical/electronic maintenance costs and improve the efficiency of electricity usage within a facility, thus increasing the overall profitability of our clients. Negotiate service contracts and lead engineering projects across Latin America and the US. Identify energy savings opportunities and make recommendations to achieve more energy efficient operation. Provide consultation to clients or other engineers on topics such as climate control systems, energy modeling, data logging, energy management control systems, lighting or daylighting design, sustainable design, and energy auditing. Provide technical and practical advice and offering training on energy efficiency. Develop promotional activities and materials to publicize particular schemes. Keep accurate records and regularly collecting energy monitoring data. Carry out site inspections and energy surveys. Benchmark energy consumptions against best practice guidelines. Keep up to date with legislation such as the EU Emissions Trading System (EU ETS).
Must have Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering from an U.S. or accredited foreign college and at least 5 yrs. of progressive experience as project engineer. Willingness to travel.
